The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce Seeking Nominations for two Prestigious Awards

The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce is currently taking nominations for two prestigious awards: the 2020 Business Person of the Year Award, and the Zykan Family Legacy Award.

The Business Person the Year Award is annually given to an individual(s) that embody the best qualities of community leadership through the combination of business, civic and community activities.  The award is open to all Chamber members.  You may nominate someone for this award, or you may simply nominate yourself.  The selection committee will determine the award recipient.  The awardee will be honored and announced during the 65th Anniversary Awards luncheon on Wednesday, February 19, 2020.

The Zykan Family Legacy Award was established to preserve the legacy of the Zykan Family and their contribution to the Greater North County Chamber and the North County community since 1955.  This award will be given to an individual that has demonstrated commitment through their time, talent, and treasure towards the North County community.  All nominations should include civic and community activities, personal story, and years of service to the North County community.  This award is open to all North Countians.  You may nominate someone for this award, or you may simply nominate yourself.  The selection committee will determine the award recipient.  The awardee will be honored at the 65th Anniversary Award luncheon on Wednesday, February 19, 2020.
