Greater North County Chamber of Commerce 2023 Scholarship Application Guidelines:
- The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce Scholarship is intended to recognize graduating seniors who have shown a commitment to building a better community, and have demonstrated a record of community service in the area.
- The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce Scholarship will be awarded to graduating seniors who reside in North St. Louis County Zip Codes: 63031, 63033, 63034, 63042, 63134, 63135, 63136, 63137, 63138 and/or attend the following high schools: Hazelwood Central, Hazelwood East, Hazelwood West, Incarnate Word Academy, Jennings High School, McCluer High School, McCluer North, Innovation High School, North County Christian, North Tech, Northview, Riverview Gardens High School, STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley.
- In 2023, the Greater North County Chamber will award five (5) $1,000 Merit Scholarships and one (1) $1,000 Perseverance Scholarship to a student who has persevered in his or her studies despite facing some tough obstacles.
- In 2023, the Florissant Jaycees will award one (1) $1,000 Community Service Scholarship to a student that has given their time to their community.
- In 2023, the Jacob’s Ladder organization will award one (1) $1,000 Determination Scholarship to one student who has worked hard despite obstacles, financial, and/or family circumstances.
- The scholarship may be used for post-high school continuing education expenses including college or university tuition, room and board, books, fees, or for expenses associated with a trade or technical school program.
- The Greater North County Chamber Partners in Education Committee will take into account the COVID-19 situation while evaluating the applications.
Applications must be received at the Greater North County Chamber Office by Friday, February 17, 2023
