Chair’s Letter – November 2020

Welcome, November! Ten months down and two to go until the new year! I don’t know about you, but I sure am ready to see what 2021 has in store for us. Thanksgiving Day is but a few weeks away. Let us all take the opportunity to reflect on the things and people for whom we are thankful. This year has taken us through many changes and emotions, ups and downs, and wins and losses. We have all dealt with unique and unprecedented circumstances this year, but I cannot help but feel thankful that I am still here. I am also thankful for family, community, and all of you. During this time of uncertainty, we have all banded together and looked out for one another. We have supported each other’s businesses and taken care of our neighbors like never before, and for this, I am thankful.

As we continue to conduct networking events via a virtual platform, please don’t forget that you are welcome to attend them all. There are several ways to become involved within your community, and the Chamber is a great resource. Please join us for: Women In Networking every second Tuesday of the month at noon via Zoom; FUEL every first Thursday of the month at noon via Zoom; monthly Membership Luncheons every third Wednesday of the month at 11am. Please register for this month’s in-person luncheon held on November 18th (11am-1pm) at Catering To You. Register early, as space is limited. Our annual Professional Headshot Day will be held on November 6th (10am- 1pm) with Kent Miller Photography; the cost is $40.00. Call the Chamber office for a time slot today. The Chamber offers several committees for you to join and put your stamp on; please don’t be a stranger. Remember, the team at the Chamber office is here for you.
