President’s Report – November 2018
The season of gratefulness is upon us! November is a time to reflect and be thankful for the people we cherish and the daily life we are fortunate to live. Every day in November, let’s make a conscious effort to stop and think about just ONE thing we are thankful for… it may be your family, friends, business or it may be the car that takes you from point A to point B. There is so much joy in being thankful.
As we near the end of 2018, please be sure to stop by and bring new un-wrapped toys to the chamber office, as well as cleaning supplies for our Holiday drive. I know we’re all excited about the holidays, let’s include those in our community that may be struggling during this time of the year.
Sign up now for our Membership Luncheon on November 14th at Catering To You! It will be the last Speed Networking luncheon for the year! Don’t miss!
Please join us for November’s Business After Hours on Thursday, November 8th at the Chamber Office located at 420 W Washington Street in Florissant from 5-7 p.m. Bring a friend, a spouse or a colleague! The more the merrier!
Be sure to get your professional head shot taken on November 2nd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Chamber Office. $40 professional photos taken by none other than Kent Miller Photography! Call us to reserve your spot at 314-831-3500. Few spots left.
Nite of Stars is around the corner and if you haven’t gotten your ticket(s) yet, don’t wait, don’t hesitate, don’t do anything but call the chamber office… we cannot guarantee you a seat! We have ONE VIP table left and as I write this, we may only have a handful of tables left. We want you to attend! This will be the most amazing gala yet… we have some fabulous Live Auction items already! If you’re unable to make it for some reason, you can buy a $25 Raffle ticket for the cash prize drawings! You can win up to $5000!!!
Membership Directories for 2018-2019 are now available! Pick some up for your business and share with your staff and customers!
As we look forward to our Thanksgiving meals gathered together with family and friends, let’s remember what Mother Teresa said, “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
