President’s Report – March 2022
Hello March! As Spring hopefully greets us, I’m reminded that it is the time of year for us to be refreshed, renewed and refocused. As you set your clock forward on March 13th, please do so with an optimistic outlook that a new season can bring new beginnings and ideas for yourself, your career, and your life! Maybe there’s something you’ve always wanted to learn, maybe you’ve always wanted to read that book collecting dust on your shelf, whatever it is, NOW is the time to take hold of what you’ve been putting off! If the last couple of years has taught us anything, it is the frailty of life and the joy (or not joy) of loved ones.
Hop to it and sign up for our Scavenger Hunt on March 19th sponsored by Gary’s Auto Service, Get Well Family Chiropractic, and Robinwood Automotive! $30 per person gets an amazing day of Scavenger Hunt, a party at Catering to You that includes dinner and drinks (cash bar for mixed drinks), a t-shirt and prizes along the way! Don’t wait! Go to the Chamber website at www.gnccstl.com. Want to sponsor the event? We have sponsorships as low as $200! Call the Chamber at 314-831-3500.
If you have not done so already, please reserve your table of 8 for our April 30th Music Trivia Night. We’re celebrating our favorite movies and TV shows, so come as a Khaleesi or Superman! 21+ are welcome!
Mark your calendar for our Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, June 3rd! The price is $125 per golfer, so bring some friends for a beautiful day of golf at the Florissant Golf Course.
Don’t forget Off the Clock (formerly Business After Hours) on March 10th at Johnny Londoff Chevrolet from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Sign up for the March Luncheon as Jaime Jenkins explains how members can increase their exposure on the Chamber website! ? Want 5 minutes at the podium? Call the Chamber office to see how you can sponsor a luncheon at 314-831-3500.
In conclusion, we have many opportunities for you to get actively involved in the Greater North County Chamber! Together, we can make a positive impact in our community!
I leave you with this Irish Blessing, “Wherever you go and whatever you do, may the luck of the Irish be there with you!” Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
