President’s Report – March 2018

Hello March! As Spring greets us, I’m reminded that it is the time of year for us to be refreshed, renewed and refocused. As you set your clock forward on March 11th, please do so with an optimistic outlook that a new season can bring new beginnings and ideas for yourself, your career and your life.

Here at the Chamber, we have many things to look forward to! This is our last month collecting items for our Helping the Homeless campaign, you have until March 20th to drop off donations at the Chamber office. We will be giving these donations to our member charities, school districts and first responders, so please give generously.

If you have not done so already, please reserve your table of 8 for our April 7th Music Trivia Night. It’s going to be the best yet! Mark your calendar for our Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, June 1st! The price is $100 per golfer, so bring some friends for a beautiful day of golf at the Florissant Golf Course.

We would like to invite you to attend our 2018 Legislative Luncheon hosted by SSM Health DePaul Hospital for Friday, April 13th from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the DePaul Hospital May Room. This is a free event and is limited to the first 50 reservations. Please reserve your spot by calling the chamber office at 314-831-3500 or emailing Michelle@greaternorthcountychamber.com. This event will give you the opportunity to local legislators and hear about the committees and legislation they are involved in on our behalf.

Because we are a community that sticks together and supports one another, I invite you to join us on March 6th at 5:30 p.m. at Show Me’s on Lindbergh to show our support for their establishment. Grab a drink and order some wings and enjoy some company with your chamber friends… BYOB ?

Don’t forget Business After Hours on March 8th at Johnny Londoff Chevrolet from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Sign up for the March Luncheon as we partner with Community News for “The Best of North County” awards on March 21st!

Last but not least, look out for upcoming news on the Young Professionals Group “Pub Crawl” slated for April 28th, it’ll be a fun time! Seats are limited and sponsorships are available! Email Jaime@greaternorthcountychamber.com for more information.

In conclusion, please consider joining some of the amazing committees that we have at the chamber, whether it’s for the Golf Committee, the Governmental Affairs committees, or another committee, we have so many opportunities for you to be involved!
