President’s Report – June 2021

In a lot of ways, summer never ends in St. Louis.  Before we can even tell that Spring has arrived, summer has sashayed itself to our daily lives, bringing with it the warmth of the sun and summer fun.  Were you able to make our 2021 Business Showcase and Career Fair? We partnered with the City of Florissant in this endeavor and had over 30 businesses in attendance! Thank you to Presenting Sponsors: North County Incorporated; St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley; and Veterans United Home Loans.

Sign up for this month’s Membership Luncheon on June 16th at Orlando Gardens with CTE Program speakers Matt McClellan and Raghib Muhhamad.  Learn about how our students are getting ready to enter the workforce and what we can expect from future hires! Luncheon sponsor will be the Emerson YMCA!

If you’re doing a staycation or a vacation or just walking around the neighborhood, I leave you with this thought: “We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us” Make sure to enjoy the everyday and explore your own neighborhoods, cities, and small businesses!
