President’s Report – April 2019
April is upon us! We had a wonderful March. Thank you to the Community News, our partners for the “Best of North County” and congratulations to all the winners!
Our job at the Greater North County Chamber is to serve you! If you have not done so already, please fill out our 2019 Survey! This helps us know what we need to focus on and gives us great feedback on what we’re doing right and the different opportunities we can improve on. So please, take the time to give us your feedback, we’re listening ?. We will draw a winner for a Chamber e-Blast ad (value at $100) and a lunch with myself and our very own, Darla Tinker!
Music Trivia, “50 Year Anniversary of Woodstock!” is set and ready for April 13th! If you’re not playing, we can always use volunteers! Call the Chamber office at 314-831-3500.
We love keeping you informed and on April 23rd, we will have a Member Orientation at noon at the Chamber Office. This is for new members, existing members or anyone that would like to know EVERYTHING that we’ve got going on for you at the Chamber. We cover everything from ChamberMaster to all our committees to Chamber events to the Missouri Chamber’s Health Benefit Plan! So please call the Chamber office and reserve your spot… we will have snacks!
Meet our Valley of Flowers Queen candidate Hannah Crowder at our April Business After Hours at Pirrone’s on April 11th from 5 to 7! Help us build her a float for this year’s Valley of Flower’s parade, “One Hundred Years of the Fire District!” Call the chamber office at 314-831-3500 if you’d like to help!
Last but certainly not least, thank you to everyone that donated to our Homeless Drive! For this quarter, we will start collecting Back To School Supplies and gently used clothes for young children to teenagers for the Little Bit Foundation. Please drop it off at the Chamber office at your convenience!
I leave you with this quote from Albert Einstein: “Out of clutter, find simplicity. From discord, find harmony. In the middle of difficulty, lies opportunity.” Happy Spring Cleaning everyone!
