From the President – November 2016

Time is flying by and so much going on here at the Chamber office. Last month we had our parking lot repaved and it looks great! Thank you to all who contributed to the Capital Campaign Fund over the years, we are now able to repair and update some of our well needed items.  Any contribution to the Capital Campaign Fund is always greatly appreciated.

Our Women in Networking committee just had their Women’s Empowerment Seminar on October 12th at Catering To You Banquet Center.  Thank you to Halina Conti and Keetra Thompson for co-chairing this successful event. The whole committee did a wonderful job and everyone walked away relaxed with smiles on their faces.

Most importantly coming up on December 2nd is our Nite of Stars Gala. Please mark your calendars and send in your reservations. This year our theme is Willy Wonka, therefore what kind of gala would it be if we didn’t have a chocolate fountain with many treats to dip and a martini bar serving chocolate and lemon drop martinis!!! Auction items are great too…a Jamaica trip, Cardinal tickets and much more. Please join us for a night of chocolate, fizzy lifting drinks, and fun.  Willy Wonka, “The suspense is terrible… I hope it’ll last.”

Thank you to our new members who joined in October: Eagle Bank & Trust Co. and Pyramid Home Health Inc.  We wish you much success and we are always here for you. I think I speak for all in saying, “we welcome you with open arms and look forward to working with you.”

Thank You…

Your business, partnership, support and friendship mean the world to us. We hope your business continues to grow and that we continue to grow together.  We at the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce wish you and your family a warm and happy Thanksgiving.  There is so much to be thankful for and we thank you for everything you do.
