Chair’s Message – September 2018
Greetings Chamber Comrades,
Another summer has flown by faster than the last with another school year now in full swing. I sure hope everyone enjoyed some time off from work over the past few months for rest, recreation and relaxation with family, friends and loved ones!
Many thanks to everyone who made our Scholarship Bowl a HUGE success last month at Crest Bowl! It was a sellout and everyone had great fun, along with some participants showing off their bowling skills with top scores that rival the best!
We have a lot going on in September, as your chamber continues to serve you with the latest and greatest in programing and fellowship.
On Sept. 11, the ladies will gather for the W.I.N Women In Networking Luncheon at Cannoli’s Restaurant. It’s going be a great opportunity to connect and network so don’t miss out! And on Sept. 21, it’s the fifth-annual Women’s Empowerment Seminar with key speakers, vendor booths, a fashion show, and lots of food and fun!!! It’s a “don’t miss it” event, ladies!
This month our Membership Luncheon Meeting on Sept. 19 is at Catering To You and features the St. Louis Zoo. You’ll definitely want to join us for this meeting to hear firsthand what the Zoo has planned in North County! I look forward to seeing all of you there!
Our Business After Hours is on Sept. 13 from 5-7 p.m. at Central Bank of St. Louis. These informal gatherings for Chamber family and friends seem to get more popular each month and that’s a great thing! Stop by for some fellowship, laughs and learn the latest in Chamber world!
As fall arrives, it’s now also time to turn our attention, energy and efforts to our Kickball Tournament at the 2018 Run, Kick & Play at the Shrine event on Saturday, Oct. 20!!! There are sponsorship and volunteer opportunities and it’s an “all hands on deck” call to action for help in making this a great success! Please participate in any way you can.
