Chair’s Message – September 2016
As most of you know, Carolyn Marty is retiring from the Chamber later this year. With that being said the hiring committee and board of directors offered the position of Chamber President to Judy Taylor. Judy comes to the Chamber with 17 years of experience owning her own business and is already familiar with our Chamber and its wonderful members. Judy joined the office on August 15th. Please help me welcome her to her new role as the Chamber President and wish Carolyn Marty a happy retirement.
Gutter balls, spares and strikes were had at our Scholarship Bowl on Tuesday, August 2nd. We can’t thank you all enough for all of your help with this great event. We thank you; the bowlers, our cheering section, the wonderful sponsors, our volunteers, and of course the committee that puts this event together. We couldn’t raise as much money for the children as we did without your help! Thank you to Jon Vogt, winner of the 50/50, who donated the funds back to the scholarship fund. Congratulations to the winning team, Ameriprise Financial who took first place. Second place was Team Kevin McClain. Last place, or better known as, the group that had the most fun, was the team from Catering to You!!
