Chair’s Message – October 2018
Greetings Chamber Comrades,
October is here and it’s now time to turn our full attention, energy and efforts to the Chamber’s Kickball Tournament at the 2018 Run, Kick & Play at the Shrine event on Saturday, Oct. 20!!! There are sponsorship and volunteer opportunities and it’s an “all hands on deck” call to action for help in making this a great success! Please participate in any way you can. Call the Chamber office at 314-831-3500 or email Greater North County Chamber of Commerce.
On Oct. 9, the ladies will gather for the W.I.N Women In Networking Luncheon at Cannoli’s Restaurant. It’s going be a great opportunity to connect and network so don’t miss out! Many, Many thanks to EVERYONE who made the fifth-annual Women’s Empowerment Seminar last month such a HUGE success with key speakers, vendor booths, a fashion show, and lots of food and fun!!! It’s been reported that this was one of our most outstanding events to date.
Our Business After Hours is on Oct. 11 from 5-7 p.m. at Helfer’s Deli. These informal gatherings for Chamber family and friends seem to get more popular each month and that’s a great thing! Stop by for some fellowship, laughs and learn the latest in Chamber world!
This month our Membership Luncheon Meeting on Oct. 19 is at Pirrone’s Banquet Center and features SCORE presenting “E-commerce vs. Bricks & Mortar.” You’ll definitely want to join us for this meeting to hear firsthand what the future holds! I look forward to seeing all of you there!
Join us Oct. 25 for our Lunch with Leaders program with radio personality Paul Cook to learn how to talk to your children about drugs and to hear a man’s inspiring story! The program is designed for young professionals but open to all ages so I’ll be there!
Until next time, all the best to you for continued success and prosperity!
