Chair’s Message – November 2017
November is a month for reflecting on all we have to be thankful for. The year has gone by quickly, but as I reflect on what I am thankful for this year, it will include the strength of our Greater North County Chamber and the relationships I have built—professional relationships as well as new friendships—as a result of my involvement in the Chamber. We have welcomed a new President, watched Jaime step into a new role, and welcomed many new businesses into the Chamber. We’ve had fun, promoted North County as a great place to do business and raised the profile of our member businesses along the way. In October the Chamber hosted our premier women’s networking event, The Women’s Empowerment Seminar. We had a strong turnout and I understand it was a great event. Thanks to Halina Conti and Sharon Johnson for spearheading the committee. And we’re not done yet…
Please consider joining us for Night of the Stars on Friday, December 1st at the Dietrich Banquet Center at Christian Hospital Northeast. It is a fun evening with great food, open bar, and dancing as well as a silent and live auction where you can get a head start on your holiday shopping. It can be a great way to host an early holiday celebration with your work team or invite your family or friends along to join you. At the time of this newsletter there are still seats and a limited number of business sponsorships available. I hope to see you there. I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and an opportunity to take a break with family and friends.
