Chair’s Message – November 2016
Happy November!
A BIG THANK YOU to everyone that participated in the Women’s Empowerment Seminar. They had a great turn out, great food, lots of attendance prizes, and loads of FUN. They even had the chance to do some Yoga and Zumba!! A BIG thank you goes out to the chamber members that attended the event, the sponsors for their generous donations, the vendors that set up tables at the event, the chamber office, and of course the wonderful committee that worked hard putting the event together. You have heard me say over and over this year and I am going to say it again, it takes us all working together to have an event as successful as this one was. Thank you everyone!
Please don’t forget your civic duty and vote on Tuesday, November 8th.
I hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with unlimited food and delightful company. I challenge you all to think about the things in your life that you are thankful for and share them with those that you love. We all often take for granted these things as we are caught up in the hustle and bustle of our lives, but take a few moments to be thankful this year on Thanksgiving.
December 2nd will be here before you know it. By now you should have received your invitation for the Willy Wonka Nite of Stars Holiday Gala. Have you called the chamber office to get your seats? If so, WOO HOO, we look forward to a wonderful evening together! If not, please make sure that you call and get your tickets today, as this event will sell out fast.
