Chair’s Message – July 2018

Greetings Chamber Comrades,

Summer is definitely in full swing and I hope everyone is enjoying all the different activities and attractions that our great community has to offer. We had a great golf tournament last month and many thanks to everyone who participated to make it such a great success.

Our annual Scholarship Bowl is Aug. 2 at Crest Bowl from 6-9 p.m. – so start pulling your team together and plan to be there! All proceeds go directly into our scholarship fund to help advance North County students! I hope to see all of you there, as this is one of our FUNNEST EVENTS OF THE YEAR!

Our General Membership Luncheon is July 18 at Pallotine Renewal Center, sponsored by the Safe Harbor Finance & Insurance. The non-profit of the month is the St. Ferdinand Thanksgiving Dinner. I look forward to seeing all of you at the luncheon!

The Women In Networking Luncheon is July 10 an all ladies in the chamber are encouraged to attend and bring a female colleague or two as well.

Our Monthly Business After Hours will be on Thursday, July 12, at Schaefer Autobody Centers, located at 9091 Dunn Rd. 63042. This will be a great setting for a fun an informal after-work gathering. This monthly gathering is truly ideal for networking and relationship development!

We’ll gather for a ribbon-cutting at Amore Pizza on July 23 at 4 p.m. to celebrate their expansion at 450 St. Francois St. 63031. Let’s all plan to attend and show our support!
