Chair’s Message – October 2017
Fall is here but you sure couldn’t tell it from the weather we’ve had. September is in the books and if you missed the September luncheon you missed a great networking opportunity. The luncheon featured speed networking for the first time. This involved the luncheon attendees giving a one-minute infomercial about their business at the table where they were seated and then moving to another table. It was a great way to meet new business owners and pass business cards.
What’s on tap for the Chamber in October? On the 13th the Chamber will hold its annual Women’s Empowerment Seminar at Catering to You. The seminar will feature guest speakers, a fashion show, wine tasting, lunch, informational booths, and most of all fun. This event is open to the women of both member and non-member organizations as well as their employees. Contact the chamber office to purchase tickets.
I hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween and doesn’t overdo it on the candy corn. Boo!
